Ed Fritz Certified in Law Enforcement in the state of North Carolina
Ed Fritz graduated from Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) in the state of North Carolina at Wayne County Community College in NC. This is an intense training program for 8 months and is mandatory for any individual desiring to pursue a career in law enforcement in the state of NC. Ed graduated with an award for 98% accuracy in shooting his weapon, best in his class. Ed was recently hired by the Wilmington Police Department in Wilmington, NC and is currently serving it's citizens. He was recently involved in an investigation concerning the homeless in Greenfield Park, Wilmington.
Previously, Ed had served in the United States Air Force as a K-9 handler for a period of 10 years and completed a tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also served as a Temporary Secret Service Agent utilizing a Military Working Dog in protection of former VP Dick Cheney, performing specialized duties in law enforcement that utilized a military working dog for explosive detection, scouting, tracking, and apprehension of suspects.
