King Davis

Hello, brothers & sisters.  My name is King S. Davis and I am serving my second term as President of our great CSEA State Local 013 located in Syracuse, NY.

In 1986, after completing an Associates Degree at Onondaga Community College, I started working for the State of New York Workers' Compensation Board and became associated with CSEA.  Prior to my first term as President, I worked on the Grievance, Budget, Events, and Political Action Committees and elected Third V.P. and to two terms as Second Vice President.
 
During my involvement in Organized Labor Activities, CSEA President, Danny Donohue, appointed me to several statewide and regional committees. Because of the training provided to me by CSEA and others, we were able overcome the many challenges that faced us such as improper and unfair labor practices.    
                                                        
With the continued support of the thirty-nine agencies that are represented in our local, together, we will face what ever obstacles that are placed in our path.
