Connie Fritz

I am happy to be appointed to the office of Treasurer and to have the opportunity to further serve my union brothers and sisters in CSEA local 013.

My association with our local and organized labor first began as an activist on the pick-it line when my job and collectively speaking, our livelihoods were in jeopardy by NYS Governor David Patterson.

A brief time later our local president, King Davis, discussed with me the need to update our local’s web-site design.  A committee was formed by the local’s Executive Committee and for the first time, I found myself a union committee chairperson / web-site administrator.

My education and professional background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and an MCSE certification.  During the immediate past ten years, I have worked at the Workers’ Compensation Board and in years prior at University Hospital and the State Insurance Fund.

Lastly, I have come to believe that we (Local 013 Members) can and do make difference in the workplace. Join us in making that difference. Consider becoming active today!
