WHY DID I GET INVOLVED: Didn’t like the way some of my co-workers were being treated. Since my co-workers noticed that I didn’t let anyone treat me any way they wanted and that I spoke my mind, they requested me to become their union representative.
FUTURE: I see myself working and staying involved to make CSEA better and to make my local stronger. I am also looking to get more members involved.
BEST MESSAGE: THE EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS ARE NOT THE UNION. WE ALL ARE THE UNION. IF WE STAND TOGETHER AND WORK TOGETHER, THEN NOTHING CAN STOP US.
