CSEA will once again be showcasing our union, promoting a positive image of our members and celebrating our Centennial Anniversary this year with our 20th annual booth at the 2010 New York State Fair in Syracuse.
From Thursday, August 26th to Monday, September 6th (Labor Day), CSEA will maintain a booth in the Fair's Americraft Center of Progress Building, staffed by volunteer CSEA member activists. We'll be handing out CSEA Shopping Bags and other goodies, as well as registering hundreds of people to vote.We'll also proudly be exhibiting CSEA's Centennial History Display, which is touring around the state to educate the public about the union's important history of accomplishments as we mark our Centennial Anniversary in October.

CSEA and the other unions that had ongoing employment issues at the New York State Fairgrounds have announced that they have resolved those concerns, avoiding a potential union boycott of the Fair.
The Greater Syracuse Labor Council worked with several unions, including CSEA, and representatives from the Governor's Office, as well as high-ranking state officials and the Fair Administration to come to solutions that would keep as many union workers as possible working at the Fairgrounds.
